Cuckoo? jamieharrop2017-02-20T21:33:00+00:00February 20th, 2017|0 Comments There have been reports of a cuckoo being heard near Hebden Bridge. Any thoughts? http://www.hebdenbridge.co.uk/forum/2017/018.html#p2 No Comments Steve Blacksmith February 22, 2017 at 10:18 pm - Reply I heard the news from another source as well, so went along today, but no sounds of a cuckoo. This was my list in 1hour 20 mins: Mallard (on the canal at the bottom) Jackdaws in flocks, Robin singing, one Blue Tit, Crows, domestic hen. It was nicely sheltered from the wind along there (Crow Nest Woods). I've had Wood Warbler there in the past.
