It's Bog Asphodel, a very choosy plant that around here only grows in upland acid bogs. We have many small sites around our uplands, but it's never extensive. It's usually in the really wet parts you have to find a way round.Nathecium ossifragum – the specific name seems to refer to something broken, whatever an ossi is. In the lily family.
