I think it may be a Pleurotus but maybe someone can identify? No Comments Alison September 15, 2015 at 10:04 pm - Reply Hi Philip, It looks like you have found Branching Oyster (Pleurotus cornucopiae) as the gills are decurrent and run down the full length of the stem. It looks like a mollusc has eaten part of the gills in the specimen on the left hand side but apart from that it looks like a good match to me. Best, Ali.
