Plantation Hare jamieharrop2012-03-12T20:14:00+00:00March 12th, 2012|0 Comments A much cropped shot of a Brown Hare I watched in a field for about 20 minutes off Back Lane, Ogden. I average one of these about every two years if I’m lucky! No Comments Bruce March 12, 2012 at 10:00 pm - Reply Nice one Nigel. I have only seen them near Noah Dale locally and then only briefly. Steve Blacksmith March 14, 2012 at 11:28 pm - Reply Yes, I see them in Noah Dale. Also last autumn on 23rd Sept there was one at the top of Stoodley glen, and there again exactly a week later when I took a party of fungus forayers up there. Hares are often site faithfull. I have seen one more than once on Staups Moor above Todmorden. There are rare well spaced out records of Mountain Hares in Calderdsale Leave A Comment Cancel replyComment Save my name, email, and website in this browser for the next time I comment.
