This is certainly one species that is not arriving any earlier as many other species have been doing in recent years. Unfortunately it also seems to be in serious decline especially in the UK. I persuaded the Council to put a nestbox designed for them on the Square Chapel Spire when they built the new library. Hoping it will attract them!
